PROGSTRAVAGANZA XVII: Progression Artwork Revealed

The artwork (view it below) for the upcoming sampler was once again designed by Linden Artwork. Commented on the new artwork, designer Chris van der Linden had to say following:

“Progression of course is a pretty funny name when you realize its a compilation of “prog” music. All jokes aside I felt like doing something I had not done before. The last album cover for TimeShift was really futuristic, so now I wanted to go for a more “classical” feel. I thought of evolution and how we and creatures change over time. I combined this with a sort of greek/mythology flavor to give it that classical look. To create an interesting contrast I put the title in a really modern font and made sure all the colors are different from the previous album cover.”

PROGSTRAVAGANZA’s 13th and 14th editions were reviewed by DPRP, you can read them here:

The compilation will be available from Bandcamp and also comes with its official website – where all the artists/participants are showcased through profiles and interviews.
