Also Eden replace Ian Hodson

Also Eden have chosen Howard ‘H’ Sinclair to replace keyboardist Ian Hodson, who bowed out earlier this month for personal reasons.

Also Eden Sinclair was in the crowd for Hodson’s last appearance with the band at the inaugural HRH Prog festival, and was so impressed he got in touch to ask for an audition.

Vocalist Rich Harding says: “We’ve spoken to dozens of keyboard players, auditioned a couple, scared off a few more and seriously considered continuing as a four-piece.

“After seeing us at HRH Prog, Howard texted me and asked to try out. It went well and, as a result, a whole new world of possibilities has opened up for the band.”

Sinclair, who’d been working as a solo artist, says: “I’m delighted to join a band I have held in high esteem since I first saw them live a few years ago. Their performance at HRH Prog was one of the outstanding moments of the weekend and confirmed my desire to be a part of their evolving sound.”

He’ll make his debut appearance when Also Eden play with Manning at the Robin 2, Bilston, on June 9, then at The Met, Bury, on July 6.

The band are continuing work on their upcoming album: Redacted.
