The second Electric Garden Festival is set to take place on May 3 and 4 in Blackpool (UK) – but organisers need your support to make sure the event can go ahead securely.
The lineup features Karnataka, Comedy Of Errors, The Fierce & The Dead, Knifeworld, IT, Nth Ascension and Counterparts.
But no tickets will be available on the door – instead those who want to attend are asked to support the event’s Fundervine campaign, with a live DVD option available for people who can’t make the date.
If costs are covered the festival will take place as planned in Uncle Tom’s Cabin.
Organisers explain: “We are using a crowdfunding platform to ensure we can operate on a sound financial footing. By selling in advance we can gauge the demand and run a successful festival without worrying about a loss-making event.
“All the essential elements that made the 2011 festival, such a success, will be kept – along with a fantastic new venue on Queens Promenade with stunning views over the Irish Sea.
“We know prog fans are passionate about music and we really hope you’ll support the festival. If you can’t make it please consider buying a DVD.”

After that Comedy of Errors will tour The Netherlands and Germany in September with Ivy’s Dream and The Aurora Project. Dates will be presented soon on DPRP.
