Comedy Of Errors reformed in late 2009 with original members Jim Johnston (Keyboards), Joe Cairney (Vocals) and Mark Spalding (Guitar) realising they had some unfinished business to attend to!
The Disobey album was released in May of 2011 to critical acclaim and had two tracks featured on the Classic Rock Presents Prog Magazine. This release saw them joined by Bruce Levick on drums and John Fitzgerald on bass, making up the touring band..
The CD’s have been distributed worldwide via a network of international dealers as well as being available directly from the band website and on download from CD Baby, Bandcampm Amazon, and many other music download retailers.
The band have featured in a number of Classic Rock Society gigs and had a place at the prestigious Summer’s End Festival in 2012. A feature article about Comedy Of Errors was in the early 2013 issue of Rock Society magazine.
The band’s second release, Fanfare and Fantasy (April 2013), sees the band exploring some more complex themes both musically and lyrically. In addition to a CD release Fanfare and Fantasy has been issued as a double vinyl album, with bonus track.
Both albums have been mixed and mastered by Rob Aubrey, a well-respected producer/engineer, working out of Aubitt Studios, Southampton, UK since 2002.
Comedy Of Errors plan to tour and appear at festivals, as the band has something special to offer both in the studio and on the live stage soon to be yours.
