The Enid to premiere new album

The Enid will premiere 13th studio album Invicta at Watford Colosseum on November 10.

They’ll perform a one-off show in collaboration with the award-winning Orchestra of the Swan. It follows the band’s concert with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra last year.

The event is billed as “three shows in one” and will feature a performance of Invicta, followed by The Art of Melody, founder Robert John Godfrey’s new solo record, and ending with the first-ever delivery of The Enid’s 1985 album The Spell.

Godfrey says: “Founding the band 35 years ago, I couldn’t have dreamt we’d be in the position to release our 13th album, and with such a devoted fanbase behind us.

“I had always intended to present our work on a grand scale – it’s hugely rewarding to collaborate with the Orchestra of the Swan to make this happen.”

Tickets cost £35-55 and will be available from www.watfordcolosseum.co.uk.
