On September 2nd, 2012 the Boerderij will host Clive Nolan and friends in an afternoon of storytelling and music aimed to raise money for the theatrical production of Clive’s new musical, ‘Alchemy’.
Clive will be joined on stage by the Caamora Company leading vocalist, Agnieszka Swita and the company’s principal guitarist, Mark Westwood. The event will feature the appearance of special guests including Marijke Groenendaal, an internationally acclaimed classical soprano known for her song recitals with pianist Jacob Engel,Tasmara van Loon known for her work with Sylver Myst and Brian de Graeve, the singer and guitarist of Silhouette.
This intimate event will take place at the ‘Podiumcafé’ of De Boerderij in Zoetermeer. The audience will be among the first to hear the stories behind ‘Alchemy’ and have a chance to listen to the selection of songs from Clive Nolan’s diverse projects: ‘She’, ‘Otra Vida’, Arena, Shadowland, Strangers on a Train as well as the much anticipated ‘Alchemy’. This performance will be videoed with the hope of including it in the special edition DVD package of ‘Alchemy’ to be released by Metal Mind Productions in 2013. There are plans to auction various pieces of memorabilia as well as making merchandise available on the day.
