Grey Lady Down

Grey Lady Down It’s particularly great news to be back on the road again at this moment – after all, tomorrow (June 15th) marks the 20th anniversary of the very first GLD gig, at the Old Fire Station in Oxford. Who’d have thought we’d be rejuvenated and going strong two decades later?

Writing is still going very well for the projected new album. Two songs are now staples of the live set (’24′ and ‘In At The Deep End’), and two more (‘Cold Black Heart’ and ‘Hedging Your Bets’) are very nearly finished, we’re just discussing the fine detail. At least one of those should be ready for Maltby.

No definite plans yet on when we’ll be going into the studio to record the new opus, but we’re certainly hoping that work will have begun by the end of the year…

Three gigs in the UK for your diary are as follows:
Sat 14 July – The Brasenose Arms, Cropredy
Sun 15 July – Robin2, Bilston
Sat 01 Sept – Classic Rock Society, Maltby
