“And Another Thing…” The Dark Angel Times (the previous title for The Reasoning‘s regular newsletter) is no more! So in the newly titled And Another Thing… newsletter the band send us info on the new live CD scheduled for release in November and a new EP in December.
Some of you may be aware that we played at the wonderful ROSfest in the USA in May of this year. We had an incredible time making many new friends and getting ourselves into some very silly situations. Well, some of us did, anyway (yes, you, Owain and Matt…). Our performance was recorded and we are very pleased to say that we are going to be releasing an 80 minute live CD of the show in November 2011, which is to be called Live In The USA: The Bottle Of Gettysburg. Matt is super busy in the studio right now mixing the album, whilst the artwork is being put together by a very well-known – and extremely talented – designer / artist. This promises to be a rocking no-holds-barred live album and will be our first official live release.
On top of that, the band are working on a four track EP entitled And Another Thing…, which will be released on download only in December 2011. This is currently at the preproduction / demo stage with each member of the band contributing a song and with Rachel, as always, adding all the lyrics and vocal melodies. We’re currently writing our fourth album, which is due for release next year, and have ended up with over five 5 hours’ worth of brand new material! Given that not all of this will make it onto album four, we feel that it makes good sense to share it with you all in an alternative format. It would be a crime to leave such great tracks on the shelf! Further details on the EP will follow very soon.
