Glaswegian based proggers Comedy Of Errors officially released their debut album Disobey at The Ferry on 20th May (the gig also included Credo).
“Comedy Of Errors are a Glasgow-based progressive rock band formed originally in 1984. Their sound was primarily influenced by by bands like Yes and Genesis, but also by more traditional rockers like Thin Lizzy and Led Zeppelin. Comedy of Errors have now released their new album, “Disobey”, and this album brings Joe, Mark and Jim together again with new drummer Bruce Levick (who also features in the Grand Tour project)”
“…occasionally futuristic but with a glance back to the classic ; anthemic, epic, flashes of renaissance style harmony – Floyd meets Muse in the Court of the Gentle Giant ?….well maybe….. …..that but not that…….full of spine tingling moments of emotion ; and yet something that doesn’t derive of a subconcious attempt to emulate heroes from yesteryear…Dare I say it…COMEDY OF ERRORS are a bit different.”
