Summer’s End Festival announce three new acts

Summer's End 2011Sunchild, from the Ukraine, are one of several projects to feature prolific and talented keyboard played Antony Kalugin. This symphonic prog band have now released 3 albums, including last year’s magnificent “The Wrap”. This will be their first live appearance in the UK.

Our two opening bands this year both come from Europe. Firstly, Holland’s brilliant
Casual Silence
bring their metal-tinged prog to the Festival. The band released their first of 4 albums in 1997, with their latest, “Vertical Horizon” was just released.

Invertigo are a German band formed in 2007. Their debut album “Next Stop Vertigo” released in 2010, is one of the finest we have heard in recent years, combining dynamic prog with brilliant songwriting.

The Summers End Festival, which will takes place at Lydney Town Hall on October 7th, 8th, 9th 2011
