Requests for Improvement & Feedback

What To Improve Our feedback (by Bart Jan van der Vorst, Bob Mulvey and Derk van Mourik)
For you guys to like my music!!!! We do like your music Fred!
Go on, you're doing a great job! thank you
More cd revieuws we'll try. See also the main evaluation of the poll
Go on, you're doing a great job! thank you
Keep up the good work!!! thank you, we will
To focus more in the real progressive music. I think DPRP is still stuck in all the neo-prog and pop prog related artists, and forgets about the true progressive music around. It would be great if you could increase your attention to the rock-in-opposition What is real, and what is not?
This is a great site! I'd like the news to be updated more often, but I realize its a huge job to get what we get! Thanks and keep up the great work!!!!!!!! We try, but as you guessed it's a huge job.
More frequent news, as it happens, other than that just carry on the excellent service. See above!
Even more Counting out time please! Thankyou for reading. Happy new year to you all. Your wish is our command
Not really, go on as you do, I think you are the best site of this kind! Thanks
More reviews about not-typical progressive bands like Sigur Ros or Tool. Let us hope we meet up in 2003
No. I hope you will continue this way for many years to come! thank you
You're making a great Job!!    Best wishes for the 2003 and to you
More frequent album reviews, but make 'em a bit shorter and more to the point. Working on it
no I like it a lot the way it is now! thank you
Bring Back Ed:- Sorry, that is one thing we can't do. He chose to leave himself and we respect his decision. He is still around to write the occasional review though!
More timely reviews of new releases. As stated in the poll evaluation, that is one of the major points we try to improve.
More Archive/Old Reviews.    Suggest a featured artist a month Nice idea.
more CD-Reviews We have some new team members for 2003 - so we hope to do more
doing very well in the growth you're experiencing. thank you
i do really like the contents but a smoother and faster navigation and generally faster loading times would be desireable. www.artrockcovers.com can help.  :-) We're working on that.
Update in "The long songs"  More reviews per week We will give it a go
No, you do a fantastic work Cheers
No, keep up the good work. In my humble opinion you are by far the best prog rock site on the internet. You keep people like myself, in the highlands of Scotland, in touch with what is happening in the quality music scene. Well Done! Many thanks and nice to hear from Scotland
– Reviews: shorter and more to the point (it is not necessary to describe every song on a reviewed album);  – It would be great if DPRP (i.e. its editors/writers) gave a list of their current favourite Top Ten (or Top Five) of new albums on a regular basis Some of the reviews have become shorter, but some albums require more in depth analysis. We are planning some changes for DPRP in 2003, so we will look at a personal top 10 or 5 for the team members.
The Releases page could be maintained more properly... Please see the Poll evaluation. This job is vacant if anyone is interested.
More reviews in CDelight, Congratulations to CD Reviews. I didn't like Counting out time the past year. Smashing Pumpkins, ELO, U2 are bands very goods, but I think that there are a lot of bands more close and more important in the History of Progressive Rock Unfortunately Cdelight doesn't get updated anymore. As for CoT, U2 was actually an original article of the 1999 run of CoT. And it's importance and impact on all music, including prog, has been well-documented. Dito for ELO and their use of orchestral arrangements. The Smashing Pumpkins are included to prove that there is more to prog than just mellotron and long-drawn guitar solos. I hope you liked the inclusions of ELP, Ayreon, Genesis and King Crimson we did this year.
Please don't ! Stay true to yourself !  I really do think that , even if you are not the best, Only the truth of feelings and sincerity is worthwhile. Anything else is just showbiz crap. Well , in fact you may take this advice into account. ?? I'm not sure I completely follow you, but thanks anyway!
The reviews can be more critical! More critical? I bet a lot of Flower Kings or Marillion fans won't agree with you.
Every band has their own page, so perhaps DPRP should forget about band pages and give the news and updates of the official sites instead. It is likely the band pages will disappear when we move to DPRP.net. As for updates on other band's websites, when they notify us of significant changes, these will be included in our News updates.
More regular items in the "Forgotten Sons" section FS is not a regular column like for instance the cd reviews.
Cd-reviews eerder maken na release nieuwe cd. As stated in the poll evaluation, that is one of the major points we try to improve.
Not really. Hope you can maintain this high standard. Many thanks
More news over new releases, news about bands recording a new cd in studios We're dependent on the news we receive from bands, which we then try to publish.
You continue in you political way... this is correct and good we try not to confuse politics with music. There are enough political parties and musicians who do so.
Bring back Ed! Tell Ed thanks for the service all these years. He will be missed.    Eric Sorry, we can't bring Ed back, but he will be around to write the occasional review though!
Keep on going ! thank you, we will
just keep on becoming better like you're doing!! Cheers! thank you, we will
I only discovered you a few months ago, but I think you are the best prog music site on the Web! Bravo! Welcome
No, keep up the good work! we will!
Shorter CD reviews. Reviews often contain comments per song, which make them a bit too long for my taste. Some of the reviews have become shorter, but some albums require more in depth analysis. We are planning some changes for DPRP in 2003, so we will look at a personal top 10 or 5 for the team members.
More comprehensive CDE reviews See above
I'd like to see new records of well-known bands in favour of all those unknown CDs that don't get a decent rating (and there are many of these reviews!), for example: Symphony X's The Odyssey has not been reviewed yet and that's a shame. I know that DPRP  We can only review the CD's we receive, however I agree with your comments - let us hope that more of the bands read your comments and send us their new releases. We must not, however forget some of the excellent new bands that emerge each year.
No. Just keep up the good work! We intend to!
CD Reviews sometimes are too long. Read above please
DPRP is definitely one of the very best prog-related sites out there !  A possible improvement I can think of (although then again not that big a flaw currently): less time elapsed between official release and the CD-review, in partiuclar for the marquee  Two points here. From our point at DPRP, we hope to improve the time taken from release to it appearing on the site. It should be noted that sometimes the bands don't send us their material straight away.
nothing in particular but keep on going as strong  as last year  Thank you very much we intend to make it even better! Thanks for your commends.
Too little has happened with DPRP in 2002. Far less updates than previous years. Quite a lot happened within DPRP in 2002 - hence less updates. We hope to improve during 2003
More Off-the-map reviews... progressive expresses itself in different ways every year. So grow with new artists. We are trying to balance the old and the new
If possible, much earlier cd-reviews As stated in the poll evaluation, that is one of the major points we try to improve.
NLgigs equivalent in the UK! Great idea - now we just need a volunteer?
Update of the Jadis-pages. See above regarding the band pages
more exclusive interviews would be cool! That is in the planning.
Maybe it should be better if you included a jazz-RIO friendly reviewer among your team of reviewers, so every avant-garde prog CD is better received and more accurately appreciated in the reviews. We are constantly looking to improve and your point is noted. This year we have taken on two new prog rock reviewers - so point noted
Perhaps make the concert and CD reviews more concise. They are v useful ... but time is tight.  Great news page  Thank you and keep up the great work  Dave Thanks Dave - but if you've read some of the other comments then you can see the problem. Make it longer - make it shorter, in depth - more concise. But we try.
I like it just the way it is!!  Thanks. and so do we - well most of the time
It would be nice to have a prog gig calendar, by european country, where prog bands can post their gig dates. e.g. IQ could post in the UK calendar that they were performing at the Mean Fiddler Dec 14th. This would also allow lesser know bands to post gig Good idea. We'll keep it in mind!
somewhat faster reviews (of, for example, symphony x) Let's see if we have improved in the 2003 Poll
Band pages are not up to date. The band pages are being phased out.
Ver good job! Keep on going! Thank you - we will
just keep up the good work!!! Thank you - we will
Get a content management system man! A management system that is workable for a huge site like ours, would cost us a lot of money, and since we don't make any money off DPRP…
Best prog website around.  Keep up the good work. Thank you
Keep it the way it is.  Keep up the good work. Thanks
Nope!  :) Sure?
Thanks for this wonderful web!!! You're welcome
You are the best in the net. Maybe some more reviews of either non-new releases or re.releases.    Thank you for everything We will make a note of all of the comments and see how many we can incorporate during 2003
Nope...just keep up the same guality work. Thank you for all that hard work. Nice to be appreciated
I think DPRP is one of the best prog web sites out there.  I really enjoy it just the way it is. Cheers
Keep up the good work in 2003! We plan too - thank you
No, excellent web page Thanks
It would be nice if DPRP could be more of a community like "Progressive Ears". But to be that you should really need new a good WORKING forum.    And perhaps the design is a bit out of date :) We're working on a new forum. It would be nice if people would actually use it then though :-)
Some reviews take too long since the album is available. Perhaps is not your fault but... Perhaps sometimes it is
nope, just keep up the good work! OK we will - thanks
add more counting of time and forgotten son Working on it
More news update´s please, and reviews from bands i know,i missed the new Clepsydra review!! the best cd of the year Alone,( So did we !!!!!
Well- I would like to know more about the Forum or the Gig Guide to other countries. I've never seen or heard anything about them. When we move to the new site
more (dutch) concert reviews Wel… you know what to do I suppose?
more reviews of 1967-1990 as a reference Like Counting Out Time you mean?
Not really. That's good - thanks
Pages are slow to load The pages are being looked at for quicker downloading
MORE FREQUENT NEWS As stated in the poll evaluation, that is one of the major points we try to improve.
Some revieuws are not objective and are the opinion of the author. Like I don't like jazz influenses so the cd is not good.  I would like more objective revieuws Sorry, as we try to explain in the FAQ, an objective review doesn't exist. It is always the opinion of the reviewer after all. We try to distribute the albums we receive according to the taste among our reviewers, but sometimes one slips through. For releases by larger bands we aim for duo or roundtable reviews to get a more nuanced review.
I just discovered DPRP this year and find it to be a great resource.  But I feel the new releases section needs to be updated every month to keep it current and relevent. You are right and this is one area for improvement in 2003
my only complaint is that i miss CD reviews from italian prog bands.  besides that you guys are the best.  keep the good work. happy 2003 ! We miss them too
MANY CONGRATULATIONS, IS A EXCELENT LINK, GO¡ THANK YOU
I like the additional reviews from the usa. I'd like to see more....but I know it's hard to depend on the yanks for all the input :^) Gig reviews you mean? Write them and we'll publish them!
As I already told you your gig calendar for US is almost useless, because you don't provide state along with city name! The gig guides are something for us to look at in 2003 - but to undertake a USA Guide we might need someone from there to help?
you are the best online site for progrock fans. Thanks
I think you're doing great. Thanks
No, just keep up the good work! We will
more frequient updates, more participation from readers, make it a more living site!! We are working on this
A better "Upcomming Releases" page Again we are working on this
None - you're just about perfect !!!!! That's nice.
This is the first time I've been here. I received some e-mails from you-I don't know how you got my e-mail address-but all is cool.I'll be checking out your site more. This is the reason why I've left so many areas blank as I am only being honest.So-I hope We hope you keep coming back too.
More reviews! Working on it
Keep it up! We will
NO THANX
no, don't change what is already terrific. Thank you
Please include a one-line explanation about the kind of news at each band mentioned in an Update List e-mail. If we did that, we might as well put the whole news update in the mail, and that is clearly not our intention. :)
Keep up the good work!!! Thanks a lot!!! We will and thank you
Hi guys, excellent work, but you should make Couting Out time more interactive, to see what people think, you know like Progfreaks.com hall of fame :) Also if visitors could rate the reviewed cd's would be nice too The new forum could take the role of Counting out Time feedback platform. To include a rating system we would really need to give up our dayjobs. We'd love to have a more interactive system and database, but currently we are lacking resources (both human, financial and time).
more CD reviews See above
Keep up the good work! Thanks
The layout of the website looks old and outdated and patchy. Not attarctive to the eye. Otherwise it is right now the best source of musical information around. A comment often made about Progressive Music itself - but still a worthy point and we will give it some thought.
I'm very glad with your site and all the information it offers. The only improving change you could make (in my opinion) is to enlarge the number of CD-reviews and keep them shorter. I know (from experience)that it takes a lot of time to write reviews so  It certainly does take time to write the reviews. We also have to be fair not only to our readers, but also the the bands and musicians who have put a great amount of time, effort and their own money into their release.
No "TOOL" is a major gap in your great collection of pages. Keep up the good work. Perhaps TOOL might read your comment and get in touch - let's hope so
the only thing this page misses is a good forum like the spock's beard or flower kings message board. The current dprp forum is in my opinion not worthwhile visiting As covered above - but an interesting point
Seriously, I think you guys do a good enough job already -- well done!    One enhancement I can think of though is to let visitors attach their own comments somehow to reviews of albums and DVDs (and gigs I guess) -- just to get a balanced view. Something When we get the forum of the ground, that will be the primary discussion/feedback platform.
I would like to see some reviews sooner after (maybee even before) it's actual release. But I realise it's allot of work. Do not change to much. Love your site! Sometimes the bands and record labels send their material in advance of it's release - we have managed this a few times in 2003
keep up the good work Thanks
Any change you could lead the way in getting free samplers off labels. We received 25 Inside Out samplers for the poll last year. Let's hope they do something like that again soon!
I don't have much to complain about really. DPRP is a good site but of course, things can always be better...    1.  Sometimes it takes too long from an albums release to the point where it gets reviewed on the site. I guess that most albums that gets rev Covered above
I WOULD LIKE MORE INFORMATION ABOUT CAMEL! Noted - but it may be worth joining the Camel mailing list as this is kept regularly up-dated from the CP Team
Maybe a few more reviews Sure
In the newsletter I'd like to see a direct link to the updated section of the DPRP. So do we, but unfortunately our majordomo program doesn't support html, so we can't include an e-mail link. However, the updated section is always the first one on the main, so the update is never more than two clicks away.
Keep up the good work! Thank you
I'd like the link to the new CD reviews to go directly to that specific new page, instead of the index.   And perhaps a bit more information on releases of of older, major bands like King Crimson and Yes. Good points.
More MP3-samples. f.ex. together with the reviews.    Gig guides, other countries more up to date. I get my info forg the danish prog mailinglist, so I'm OK, but still you should either keep it updated or drop it (there's almost never anything on the scan Points taken on board
CD Releases page updated more frequently Covered above
No! Please go on in the same way! Cheers
Just go on this way! Try to review all major new releases. Thanks and we will try
I'd like the reviews to focus more on the overall impression and the feelings of the author while listening to the CD, than on such details as which solo reminds of which band... It is for the author to decide how she writes a CD review. We cannot and will not enforce such style strictures.
more live reviews with pix  more cd reviews  just more really! It's very good quality information and has introduced me to several new bands - i like the cd reviews layout with direct links to band websites with tracks to download if you want to listen to Working on it all the time
Hopenlijk blijft de kwaliteit van DPRP zo goed, ook al hebben we helaas afscheid moeten nemen van Ed Sander. Succes met deze overgang! We blijven positief!
No, it's one of the best Prog-rock sites I know. Thank you for your comments
Not really. That's good - thanks
Just to wish you all a very great New Year and keep the Prog news rolling thru the web waves for 2003 and more years to come! (Good luck Ed Z.!) Many thanks
Keep the reviews short(er)! That's possible
Maybe they can review more non-Europe and non-US bands. There are lots of people in other places doing great music. Other than that, they're doing great! There is much good prog to be found around the world - we just need it to find us
I think that it is important to try to elevate newer bands, and by giving them Roundtable or Duo reviews, when appropriate, would help in that regard. The only problem with Round Table reviews of newer bands, as I see it, would be if all the reviewers disliked the album, it could set the band back years. More established bands can ride the criticisms.
Forme it's a shame that there's still no milestone in Counting Out Time for Gentle Giant !!! ABout time to write it down ! Totally agree
Things only improved a bit b/c they were excellent already. Many thanks for that
The CD releases page is almost always unreadable. It would be nice if it had another background anf thus would open once, and not twice per second (at least that is how it looks to me...) Is the new layout any better? Perhaps orange is not the best colour.
As Ed stated in his farewell speech, there is a lot of emphasis on mellotron prog. There should be more prog metal. On a personal note, I should have emailed you guys and gals my interest as a prog metal reviewer. Keep up the great job!!! We have started to include more prog metal releases and hopefully this will increase during the coming months and years.
I'm very curious about the popularity of the new releases. Maybe it's an idea to arrange a chartlist of progressive rockmusic. But... i'm very impressed with what you're doing for our favourite music, so go on and good luck. Interesting idea - what did you have in mind - Bob
no, i think i like it the way it is.  but i would love it if you could send some bands  on tour to scandinavia.  we want goood music up here too, you know  With hopes for a good music year.  ken carlsson Hi Ken - we hope that more of the bands will tour in Scandinavia (well all over really). Let's hope they read this.
What about including french concerts in the gigs list ?? There are the english ones but the french ones seem to have been forgotten !!!! It's not just France, sadly as is most of the world.
THE CD RELEASES AREA NEED TO BE ALWAYS UPDATED AND MORE PRECISE THANK YOU. Covered above
since some months the pages doesn´t actualize themselves - it shows that there are some news (e.g.), but the click on the news shows some old news - it took me some to realise i had to use the "F5" button each time That is not a problem of the pages, but of your browser settings.
More news :) Wouldn't we all want more news? :)
more information about 9 or 10/10 old albums For the future of Counting Out Time
More Pan-Eurpoean tour dates, e.g. for Germany. See DPRP evaluation and points above
More round table reviews Not so easy with the international team members - but we will give it a go
Search options in databse could be better    Less frequent DPRP-emails, more content Possibly - one to talk about, anyway
Please keep adding reviews. OK we will
Concert Gigs for Prog groups in the US. Dealt with above
Not, just keep up the good work. Thanks
quite happy with DPRP and so are we - almost
No, not particulary. I quite often disagree with reviews but that's just a matter of taste and perspective. You're just way the best prog site around. Keep it up! Good to see that disagree with some of the reviews. It makes it worthwhile if it stirs people up - little use if we all liked the same things. Thanks for the feedback.
maybe a new look? Working on it
A comprehensive USA concert guide would be great. But I realize this is an unrealistic task for contributors outside the USA.    RE: Above   1. IQ doesn't seem too have any other presence on the internet.  2. Only because the focus seems to have become sl Well this is mentioned above - but your point is correct, it would probably need someone from the USA to make it viable.
Faster reviews on the pages and less Anglo-American oriented....more Italian and French That would be nice - calling France and Italy?
Nothing. Keep up the good work! Cheers
More reviews as above
I Would Like To See CD-reviews Page More Operative. For Example, About New Sylvan's Masterpiece. I Heard It Two Month Ago... That review has been online for months, I'm not sure I can follow you…
More reviews of dvbd concerts, Like Kansas, Spocks Yes etc The latest Yes and Spocks DVDs are online! As for Kansas, well, we never received a copy, so we're just waiting for one of our team to buy it himself!
I would like to see the rating for a review put against its listing in the index page (by all means keep the recommendation tag as well). We are looking at the CD Reviews Page to make the older archives more relevent - point noted
i am very pleased with the service and information. CD-reviews from obscure bands from all over the world is the least interesting section. I would only comment that if we ommit releases from around the world, we and you might one day miss a truly great band.
Nop, keep doing the good work! Thanks
The long songs list back! covered above
Keep up the good work! :) OK we will
No :o) Alright - but we might keep working on it
unfortunately no updates to band pages and CDelight, that's why the rating above is low Covered above
Not really, the pages still look good, are easy to use and load quickly on a modem. Thanks
The Global Graphic ... it is a bit too kitsch ... ?? On the Links page you mean? Got any better suggestions for links on the World Wide Web?? :-)
more reviews and also more updates on releases would be nice Covered above
More reviews, update of links more times. Covered above
No Thanks
Get the concertguide for Scandinavia working again! A volunteer might be nice - perhaps from Scandinavia?
I know it is difficult, but there are a lot of new releases  to which no attention is paid Point taken
It's great - keep up the great work! Thankyou
you're doing fine. ;) are we - thanks
Samples on new albums. under discussion
I would like to see polls for all-time prog album / track. (I will even volunteer to count the votes)  Also I would like to win a dprp competition - I keep trying but have no luck. Well if we do more competitions you will stand a better chance
Just keep up the good work!!!! OK we will
Keep following your way and pay more attention to analyzing music from the former USSR We just need more bands from those countries to get in contact
You don't put US states in the address of the venue in the Gig Guide, which often make the Guide useless.  Do you know hom many Milfords, Hollices, Concords, St. Petesburgs, etc. in the US? Tens!   Add states, please! Or, stop publishing US Guide and wast We've covered this above - but more food for thought
more DVD Reviews  more oldies Reviews OK we will
CD reviews should be in line with CDs available in shops : sometimes, the CD has been released for quite a long time before the review (e.g Symphony X's the Odyssey), sometimes, the review is written but the CD not available before long (e.g Lana Lane)    As stated in the poll evaluation, that is one of the major points we try to improve.
More CD reviews! In 2002 there were fewer than back in 2001!   More Prog News!   But both services are already excellent!!! This is covered in the Poll itself - but it's in hand
Nothing really. You could add year of release to the entries in the index of CD reviews. Actually, indexing the reviews is getting hard because you have so many of them now. Sometimes I read a review, and then want to go back to it a few weeks later, but  We are looking at this - so hopefully
More of cdelight Alas not - me thinks
Great website!   However a mp3 section with more special versions/bands would be great (ie Genesis Musicbox live 1972) as well as video (liveexcerpts) would be great! Perhaps on the new site?
Less about the Netherlands concerts it makes me feel jealous in the UK. I know what you mean (Bob in the UK)
More reviews !! i'm surprised that a dutch band named Like Wendy (4 albums !!) has never been reviewed. Keep up the good work ! Perhaps Like Wendy will read your comment and send us some material?
MORE CD REVIEWS OF SOUTH AMERICAN GROUPS If we receive more review material from South American groups, we will review them!
Don't know. Never visit this page. Are you sure
More progressive metal information In hand
more prog-metal In hand
I would like if the reviewrs of the cd's had a bio  1) list their all time favorite cd  2) what they like now  3) their favorite band  4) their age and when they start listening to prog  This way we can have more of an understanding of where the review is Some of this information can be found on the Contacts and Credits Page - however it is an area we are looking at for 2003
No. It is a surveyable site. Thank you
More interviews, less irrelevant CD-reviews.  More focus on the "Big Ones" (bands, gigs, releases).... More interviews - soon.
More and more CD Reviews :-) more and more time to write them - please
thanks for life
DPRP is really good value... Thanks
I'd like to see the CD Release page updated more a more regular basis. Other than that, I really enjoy the site! Covered above and thanks
I like it the way it is, but related genres like psych/space and fusion could perhaps be covered too... but as I said, I like DPRP the way it is... Good points and food for thought
Maybe more contests, more articles, ephemerides section, a rare or hard-to-find album lyrics section, masterpieces's in-deep analysis. Some good ideas here - thankyou
I'd just like to wish everybody at DPRP a happy new year.  I would like to see in the Specials page some kind of interview with Frank Bornemann or round table review of any (or all) eloy albums.  thank you very much! Nice suggestion about Eloy
I miss information about progmetal and that kind of bands. I´m very, very surprised that band issues like Dark Moor, Divercia, Ensiferum, Moonsorrow, Paragon etc ain´t mentioned.   I do miss demo-reviews, local concert-arrangements  and more about the new Well we have two new prog metal reviewers for 2003 - so hopefully!
Maybe more prog metal. And access to all cd reviews (also from the past!!!) as above perhaps
Hi folks    thanks a zillion times for the wonderful work you do - it's always a big pleasure readig your page    Happy 2003!    Andrea thanks Andrea
Could you sell CD's cheaply????! No - sorry
Give the possibility to read it in Dutch No, sorry. We have always focused on being international (i.e. English language) plus that 60% of our team doesn't even speak Dutch themselves. The excellent Prog-nose is available in Dutch though (god knows where they find their time to translate all :-)
Make Cd-reviews more up to date. "Big" cd's in the prog-scene are often reviewed weeks after they've been released. Personally I find that more and more cd-reviews are about uninteresting bands (See: how do you think DPRP changed).  Idea: organise a poll  Well most of this is covered above - but another Poll (you never know)
I like it the way it is , Superb !! Thanks
There are many reviews of "never-heard-of" bands (which is not bad:) but in the same time you're missing some (IMHO) key reviews, like Peter Hammill's "Clutch" or Opeth's "Deliverance"... And we are looking at this - thanks
If it's possible (probably hard but who knows) to have dates for concerts in North America (Porcupine Tree did come in Montreal and their were no advertisinng !!! and I mist it!). By the way it is by the informations presented that I found that Flower Kin Covered above
More Counting out time please Covered above
More roundtable reviews of CD's (if possible...)or duo reviews  More about Prog History  More material for specials Covered above - but we agree
No -please change nothing ; at my humble ? opinion DPRP are the best/most complete progwebpages(surely for news and gigs). Although I'm a member of Prog-Nose (Belgium-you know)I spend less time on DPRP-pages than other years (and more on Prog-Nose because Because ? Let us know
Make more reviews! :) covered above
Interviews Yes
More about Kaipa We will, if opportunity arises.
More Updates from Forgotten Sons!!! covered
Keep it this way en good luck for the future Thanks
Concerning the CD Review, it would be better to have one page by artist, with all albums already released and the new ones... Possibly, but some bands only have one album - one to talk about, anyway
Please update"CD Reviews"more frequently and timely. covered above
more good links to websites of bands it's happening
I think you are the best site out there espcially how current you are.I am vrey interested in progressive music,so I have my hand on the pulse so to speak and I do go to alot of sites related to this andyou guys are my favorits and I can find little fault Thanks for comments - it makes it all seem worthwhile
I would like to see in the DPRPoll a sector fr best instrumental album and best instrumental piece, and a section for best ballad song. Also. it would be interesting to know among how many titles he owns a voter wahes its selection. The site could tabulat The Poll takes many hours/days to compile - but a nice suggestion
Just keep up the good work ! Thanks
Carry on like you all do now!! Thanks
Fantastic service already - really appreciated!  Any improvements would be icing on the cake. Well we could a cherry on the top
More news on a regular basis It's been hard to keep the weekly schedule so far this year, and the frequency will certainly not be increased.
Hopelijk houden jull= ie het prog & symfo genre in top tussen alle andere commerci=EBle bul= lshit. That is *exactly* what we are here for!
No I am quite happy with the way it is right now Let us know if that changes
I want Ed Sander back!      (ok-occasionally then...) and so he will be (for occasional reviews etc)
More Contests To Win Premier Seats To Prog Band Gigs! Will this be open to the DPRP Team - please?
nothing actually, for cd reviews are always a bit of personal taste.  I don't care about that to much (altough I don't always agree with the writers) for the reviews are informative enough to me Covered above - thanks for the feedback
Not really, but since it's a dutch site0 it would be nice to have a dutch version (like prog-nose) it's easier to read, though my english is very good see above
-More Italian CD reviews  -More update on the Release page (include cd to come) OK
More input from readers. More old stuff. Prog band of the month. Let readers say which is the best and why. Interesting
CD releasespage should be updated far more often. covered above
A short translation: Wim says at times he receives three update mails a day, if we can't bundle these updates. Oddly enough, for more than two years we are trying not to send out more than one update mail a day. Only at *very* rare occassions do we send out two, but never three!?! Perhaps you receive our update mails on a business account and on Monday-morning you receive the mails for the Friday-Saturday-Sunday updates? Otherwise, I can't see how you can be receiving three update mails a day.
more concert reviews That was the biggest area of growth in 2002
If possible more cd reviews, probably briefer. covered
You're doing a great job! Keep up the good work. Thanks
Maybe you will need more reviewers in the near future to garantee your current quality level. We have taken more on - thanks
More and more frequent CD reviews; covered
More competitions !  Keep on the good work !  Bertrand OK
yes please. the releases are not very updated. nothing called nuovo metal was ever released. john petrucci has not yet released the solo album. and we can't see all the upcoming cds. please pay more attention to what is expected. Well this is the opportunity to tell us - no doubt we will talk about this in the coming months.
CONGRATULATIONS! GO AHEAD CHEERS
No. You do an amazing job, love this site!! Many thanks
Free liquor and whores to all visitors!!! (Just kidding, don't change a thing!) And what do we offer the Lady prog fans!
please broaden the reviews to the music/bands under subgenre which is popular as RIO and/or Avant Progressive. Point taken
only one DPRP Update List advise per week . The majority of the subscribers of our update mailinglist is happy with the current situation: no more than one update per day. Only a very few times do we have more than one update mail per day, for example if there is a breaking news item or if we screwed up ourselves. But we try to streamline all our updates and have not more than one per day. Alternatively, you can visit our website once a week and see all the updates we did on the mainpage.
Keep up the great job! Thanks
I think "neo-prog" blows and there seems to be a general taste for it on this site. define "neo"… and while you're at it, read Martin Orford's post in The Vision Pit.
nope. think its great for prog starved fans 'down-under' G'day! Matey(s)
Only if you had the power,to send more bands to Denmark.I think its one of the greatest site on the web. Thanks - All prog bands, go to Denmark, please. I doubt it will work though.
Not much.  I am very pleased with the website. Cheers
you are doing a great job... thanks for that Thanks to you
Restart CD Delight. I thought it was a great way of presenting CD's Covered above
Please recommend some good sources to obtain CDS in the Netherlands. For instance, the Magenta "Revolutions" was hard to find for me. Almost impossible to do that. In general we always recommend the more or less independent chains, like Plato. They carry a good stock of prog. Otherwise, there's always the good ol' Internet!
No, I think you all are doing a wonderfull job for us Prog-fans and I do not have any complaints.    Greetings,  Ruud Hegger Many thanks Ruud
cd reviews are to me the most important aspect, as it is one of the few ways I can get to know about any of the great albums that are being released.  Your reviews are great, and wihout wanting to put more pressure on, as I am sure it must take up a lot o I gather the bit that is missing was going to say something about more reviews - see what we can do.
You're doing fine. Considering the amount of work everybody puts into these pages I'd say: Hats off! Much appreciated
No - Excellent site for prog news - it's my premier source of band information That's good news
Don't change anything : you're already the best progressive site worldwide ,:-) Kind of you to say so
It is very very good!!!  Maybe some interviews with bands. Yes!
No... keep up the good work and it is good to see Counting Out Time again! We think so too - more this year
My second favourite Website! and the first is?
No. I think it's very good as it is. My only suggestion wou= ld be to put out more CD reviews.  Keep up the excellent work!! Thanks - topic covered
Continue the good work we will - thanks
Zo'n pagina zou wel aardi Interesting point, but highly unlikely. We have toyed with the idea of including more backcatalogue reviews (like we did for Fish, Pendragon or Radiohead) but seeing that it is already hard to cope with the current stream of review material, this one might be a difficult one. We intend to write more backcatalogue reviews though - somewhere in the future.
An increased amount of everything, especially articles would be extremly nice. Also more competitions! In summary: more of everything ;-)  Keep up the good work. Even more? I hope you understand that for competitions we are completely dependent on bands and labels. But 2001 and 2002 were pretty good for competitions, so who knows.
Really, I have no idea at all! I don't think DPRP needs a real improvements... but please, more new pieces of history (I mean Counting Out Time) here! and so there shall be
more updates of the cd releases page, and list the releases (also) in chronological order it's happening
It's quite good as it is. Just adding musician's pages if possible (MIDI, TABS, Lyrics, Chords, ...). Not likely, sorry. There are however other excellent pages for these.
Many informations are available on DPRP, I like to visit this for my update. A new group born here in Quebec city ERE-G "Au-dela des Ombres" on Ipso Facto rec. Ref: Harmonium, Gensis with a little italian taste.  Happy New Year  Richard Thanks Richard
More frequent updates on the CD-Releases page.  it's for me almost the only guide to new releases. Noted
Overall I cannot but be very please with your website. It is by far the best I've seen so far.  Reviews are good but sometime too long - I would realy like to see more concise down to the point reviews. OK (well that was short)
More to read about the wonderful band Camel, please:-) Covered above - but we agree
CD reviews could be reviewed quicker, but that is a minor criticism and shared by a few others
Nothing is wrong with the current system. Get Ed Sander back would be nice. Thanks - nice thought
mp3 samples Maybe?
No not at all, don't change anything. It is good the way it is. Keep going on with the good work.  Bravo! You do a great job! Many thanks
spruce up the artwork a little  format the text on the concert review pages to fit the width of the screen Done
Nee, ik ben erg tevreden. Via jullie blijf ik op de hoogte, veel beter dan in welk muziekblad ook.   Een gezond 2003!! A translation: No comments, very satisfied. Thanks to you guys I stay updated. Much better than any music mag. A healthy 2003!!! -- Now that's the type of feedback we like :-)
It probably becomes a bit cliché, but for me, more cd/dvd- and concert reviews. Thanks - your opions are shared by many
More interviews! Soon
No, you're the best! Thanks
Reviews of back catalogue of important or classic bands. Good idea. We'll keep it in mind!
Just keep the same quality. It's excellent! OK
Restore the Artcorner section. Possibly
More Progressive metal reviews would be nice. Even more?
Still the best progressive rock page on the web. Thank you
Not really, no. I've been checking your site for nearly 3 years now, and it's a great source of information. Hope you'll keep going! We will!
Discography in reviews Interesting point, yet unfeasable I'm afraid. We have over 1000 reviews by some 800 bands in the archive. To work out the discographies of all these (and keep them up to date) would just be too much.
More pictures, visitor's trade-wanted and sell adds. MP3's  I don't know, keep on doin' the good thing.... Err… thanks. As for ads on DPRP - no way, we pride ourselves for not having any banners or other advertisement on the site, and we intend to keep it that way. We are looking into the possibility of sponsored links on the new links page on DPRP.net through.
Marks of the new links Now being done - but we have a better idea - look out soon
Quicker reviews of CD's covered
Hope you keep on this extraordinary work!  And please continue with the CDelight-Section! covered
Perhaps to not mention that a CD is going to be reviewed in an upcoming review, then have it take quite some time for it to show up.  Otherwise, everything is great!    NB When I was completing the form, I inadvertently pressed return twice so I'm hoping  Good point
More Fusion and jazz-rock news and reviews Nice
(Much)More news!!!!! (Much)More Cd reviews!!!!!! (Much)More hours in the day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No, go ahead with it.   The best Dutch progsite we have! Thanks
