The third edition of the Night Of The Prog Festival in Loreley will take place from 18 to 20 July 2008. The festival has been extended to a three day event, with some very distinct acts on each of the three nights.
The first night will focus on the more experimental and electronic side of the genre, with bands like Hipgnosis, Isildurs Bane, Tangerine Dream and a unique, one-off gig of Klaus Schulze featuring Lisa Gerrard as icing on the cake.
The Saturday night sees the familiar face of Loreley alumni Fish headlining, as well as Les Holroyd's Barclay James Harvest, Pain of Salvation, the reformed It Bites, Magenta, The Flower Kings and more.
The Sunday night will bring every imaginable prog subgenre together with bands like Knight Area, Quidam, Gazpacho, Neal Morse, Sieges Even, Ray Wilson and closing the festival will be the voice of Supertramp, Roger Hodgson
